DAYTIME OPTIONAL ADVENTURES
PARKS
Pioneer Park - Pioneer Park
Climb and explore iconic red rocks of southern Utah. Located here is the St. George Narrows micro slot canyon. Challenge yourself by squeezing through a VERY tight slot canyon. The canyon starts a few feet from the parking lot, and is only about 100 yards long and 30 ft deep. However, it is less than 3 ft wide, with some sections much tighter. Kids fit just right and have a fun time watching adults trying to squeeze through.
Red Hills Desert Garden - Red Hills Desert Garden
Adjacent to Pioneer Park is a desert "garden". Free admission.
Town Square Park - Town Square Park
An artificial river and large fountain splash pad will help you cool off.

HIKES
Rainbow Canyon - This little canyon is near Ruby's house and the dinner location. This short hike takes you through a desert canyon with plenty of shade and cooler temperatures.
Zion Canyon - Zion Canyon is located only 30 miles from Hurricane. Because of the crowds, you will need an entire day to enjoy it. Choose a hike or walk from the guide books. They're all great.
Water Canyon
If you have most of the day, but don't want to deal with crowds, this is great option. The canyon is is part of the Zion Canyon formation, but is not in the national park, so it will be much less traveled.
SCENIC DRIVES
